Students may choose to present the results of their Capstone research in a poster format. Posters can be effective communications tools when research objectives and results are conducive to visual representation. Successful posters should present information clearly in well-defined sections. Consult these resources to help you create an effective poster.
Abstracts for panel presentations should summarize the project clearly and succinctly. Successful abstracts introduce the subject, rationale, methodology and anticipated results of the project in carefully constructed and thoughtful prose, as well as indicate the need for the research to be presented in a visual format.
Posters should be presented in a 16:9 aspect ratio, with images in a high enough resolution to be displayed on a screen measuring 56x31.5 inches. Please use the template provided below to ensure your poster is the correct size for display. Note that this template is a general guideline only.
